What it is - smalltalk about V3 and morphing
If you are a Poser user, you will know the universal femal Character from DAZ, called "V3". And I bet you love it. Or, at least most of the time. And I guess you too hate all the inadequacies of this figure (as I do) which makes the live of a Poser Artist much harder than necessary.
Personally I spent hundreds of hours fiddling with those DAZ-morphs, aiming to get a presentable figure out of this damned 3D-mesh (sorry, excuse my english, I'm a German). Mostly accompanied by a lot of bad luck.
After some time I decided to create my own morphpak (I think you will know this: you just expected that the picture you got after a long rendertime could have looked better, and you guess that it probably was not your fault).
Coping with these challenges my well known morphpak "just an unbelievable body" had been born (still available at my Online Shop and via Renderosity). By the way: it is called "UBB" for short by a lot of my customers.
Since I am doing photorealistic pictures by myself, I still was not really satiesfied with UBB (using selfmade products for professional quality renders seems to be a bit unusual for merchants selling Poser products).
I worked out version II of UBB (owners of version one where able to upgrade for free), but this was still not the last word about the story. So I decided to start over with a new morphpak, using all the experience from several years creating pictures with Poser and Cinema 4D and some good work already done with UBB, going to create something that personally I would call "the non-plus-ultra morphpak for realistic Poser renders". Including morphs to shape faces you never saw before!
The result is what I will offer to you: A morphpak for V3, containing a whole lot of unique head- and bodymorphs to shape a really unusual character. Anything without all the hussle you're familiar with while using the DAZ morphset. And without the pain while puzzling with magnets.
The picture shown on this page is rendered with Poser 5, using "raytraced light" with only 2 lightsources. The render is saved and scaled down to the size you see (downscaling softens a bit). No other manipulations were done. So, you may agree if I say: THIS IS A PURE POSER 5 RENDER!

Artist Version - for People who do pictures
If you are an artist doing pictures with Poser, this morphpak is designed to help you with creating Poser based pictures nobody has seen before. That means: Uniqueness is one of the main features of this morph package.
Another highlight is not so obvious. Some of the body morphs are specialized on fixing the missbehaviour while doing some special poses. One of this pose is bending the upper body back. A standard V3
has a somewhat round backside. Resulting problems can now be fixed via morphs. Same with the real big problem around the zone
were V3's arms and chest are glued together. This hypercritical area is the target of several morphs of this pak, so that nearly
every pose can be worked out with a natural look.
No DAZ-morphs needed!
Because all those complicated to use DAZ-morphs are not needed, you will come out with your new unique figure in mutch less time
then before. And, if you need emotical morphs for example, you can use the DAZ-morphs on top of this morphpak.
And yes, this pak offers anything you need to let the V3-mesh follow newton's rules (physics): Bend the body in a direction you want. You will find
the right morph to dial to let the resulting picture look in a natural way. Even if your figure has bigger breasts then
a standard female figure (several morphs are specialized to form this area).
What you get
The morphpackage contains 45 main morphs, all reachable from within your figures bodypart. most of them activates "submorphs"
in various bodyparts, namely chest, rCollar, lCollar, abdomen and hip.
There are 30 headmorphs to shape unique faces. Many of them affects the whole head, some the upper/lower part only.
Special morphs for mouth and lips.
The sum of all morphs in all bodyparts is more then 200.
BONUS INCLUDED: REAL EYE
Two special props containig a mesh, textured for use with Poser 5/6, gives your newly created face the real touch
of a photo (sorry, Poser 4 users have to retexture this prop). It corrects the mistake in the V3 mesh and adds true reflections for the whole eye.
DAZ morphs - not needed - but maybe...
DAZ-morphs are not required, as I said before. All morphs are directly contained in your characterfile. As a result,
the filesize is only round about 30MB with all morphs loaded. This, and a resulting high speed loading, makes it possible
to have more characters on stage then usual.
On the other hand, sometimes you may want to use the DAZ-morphs on top. This is possible, of corse:
- Poser 5/6
Use the included Python script to prepare a V3-character to receive the standard DAZ-morphs. After running
the script from within Poser, you can load the DAZ-morphs on top of the allready existing ones via the standard DAZ-poses.
- Poser 4
Sorry, but there is no easy way to handle this. I'm not allowed to deliver a CR2 containing placeholders for DAZ morphs together with my morphs
(I do not really know why - the owner of the CR2-logic is Curious Labs, not DAZ).
But perhaps somebody (me, at least?) may write an external Python script that does the job (mixing morphs
from 2 characterfiles) stand alone.
Textures shown in the promo pictures are now included.

Merchant Version - Resource Kit for people selling characters (coming soon)
the rules
Merchant resource: Simply Well shaped, Base-Kit, 24.90EUR
Create a unique figure using all the morphs available.
Use the Pythonscript contained in the package to create a resulting figure containing only one full body morph.
This resulting CR2-file is what you can sell as your own figure based on "Simply Well Shaped".
This Merchant Resource Base-Kit is basically the same package that is sold as artist version, but with a different license
to use and some Pythonscripts usefull for merchants.
PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS:
It is not allowed to have content in a product you plan to sell that is part of this base package. Not the original morphs, not the original textures. Only the
output of the original Python script is allowed to be part of your own package (a CR2 file with one full body morph).
Merchant resource: Simply Well shaped, Sharing Kit #1, 39.90EUR
This package allows you to include all morphs in your own product package, modified or as is. But you have to give credit
in your product description in the following form: "This product is based on 'Simply Well Shaped', a merchant resource kit from A::D:P (aka adp, aka adp001)".
From any revenue earned while selling a product based on "Simply Well Shaped", Sharing Kit #1, you have to
share 25% with me, the copyrightholder of "Simply Well Shaped". To do so, you can do the following:
- Selling via marketplaces like Renderosity, Renderotica, etc.
If the marketplace is able to split sales automatically (like Renderosity), you have to add my store as a target
for a 20% split. If I don't have a store at a certain marketplace allready, it is up to you to create one
and send me all data required to access this store. If a marketplace does not support splits on sales, you may
only sell the product after explicit permissions to do so.
- Selling via your own store, or ebay, etc.
This is only possible with explicit permission. Please contact me to find an acceptable solution.
